Connie (Morrow) Dezanet, age 77, of Sneads Ferry, NC, died February 29, 2024 in Wilmington, NC, after a lengthy illness. A daughter of the late Ronald and Gladys (Baughman) Morrow, she was born on May 24, 1946 in Brockway, PA. On September 9, 1972 she married Gary Dezanet, who survives in North Carolina.
Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by: a sister, Phyllis Boschini.
Along with her husband, Connie is survived by: two children, Anthony Dezanet of West Chester, PA and Jill (Bryan) Spinder of Sneads Ferry, NC; two grandsons, Lawrence and Logan Spinder; and a sister, Diane Faulk of Brockway, PA.
A 1964 graduate of Brockway High School, Connie was born and raised in Brockway, lived in Ridgway until 1999, St. Marys until 2020 and the past several years in North Carolina. She received her Associate Degree from Point Park College of Pittsburgh, PA and worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Elk Regional Health Center until her retirement in 2012. Connie was kind and generous and valued relationships and time with family and friends. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles in the Daily Press, lunch with friends; and especially cherished cuddling and spending time with her grandsons.
Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Monday, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA with Father Mark Mastrian.
Interment will take place in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
