Michael L. Tesauro, 86, of Pine Avenue, Force, PA, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Mount Nittany Hospital after a short illness. A son of the late Charles and Minnie (Lewis) Tesauro, he was born in Benezette on April 27, 1932.
On June 8, 1957 he married Janice L. (Bateman) who survives in Force.
Along with his wife, Mike is survived by: two children, Mary (Edward “Buzzy”) Levanduski of Weedville and Michaeline Tesauro of Force; two grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley Levanduski; and a sister, Rose Mary (Exper) Fox of Caledonia.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Charles Tesauro and a sister, Arbutus Kear.
Mike served in the US Army during the Korean Era. He worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Airco Spear for many years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Weedville United Methodist Church, the George E. Wagner Lodge of the F&AM and the American Legion. Living all his life in Bennetts Valley, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and delivering Meals On Wheels.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield, PA. Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Weedville United Methodist Church with Pastor Missy Smith.
Burial will take place in the Morningside Cemetery of DuBois.
