MILITARY: Served as Corporal in the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Armored Cavalry of the US Army during WWII from 1946-1949.
OCCUPATION: Worked at the Johnsonburg Paper Mill for 41 years, retiring in 1990.
NOTORIETY: Member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where he served as Usher, the Johnsonburg VFW where he served many years on the Burial Detail and member of the Johnsonburg American Legion.
OTHER RESIDENCES:Lived all his life in Johnsonburg.

Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg, PA
Friday, September 23, 2016 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg, PA
FUNERAL SERVICES:
Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father David Wilson as celebrant.
MILITARY HONORS:
Will be accorded by the Johnsonburg/Ridgway Servicemen’s Detail. Military members are asked to assemble at the funeral home, on Friday, at 9:15 a.m.
INTERMENT: Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
