Glenn C. Himes, Jr.

Glenn C. Himes, Jr., 57, of Illinois Lane, Ridgway, PA, died, January 2, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian after a short illness.  He was born in Ridgway on August 23, 1960, a son of the late Glenn C. and Marion (Husk) Himes, Sr.  In 1998 he married Kimberly M. (Erickson), who survives.

Along with his wife, Glenn is survived by his son, Steven (Tessa) Asti of Texas; a step-son Jayson (Destiny Taylor) Redmond of Oil City, PA; six grandchildren, Eli Redmond, Jay Michael Redmond, Alexis Asti, Blaze Cuneo, Gianna Asti and Brooklyn Redmond; two brothers, Terry (Judy) Himes of Anaheim, CA and Dale (Rose Marie) Himes of Ridgway; and a sister, Glenda (Francis) Cherry of Ridgway.

He was predeceased by his parents and two step-children, Jaymie Redmond and Joseph Redmond, Jr.

Glenn had worked at many local manufacturers, including twenty five years at Motion Control of Ridgway and most recently, Allegheny Coating of Ridgway.  He lived most of his life in Ridgway enjoying hunting, camping and professional Football and Baseball.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. with funeral services commencing at 8:00 p.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg, PA.
