Dennis W. Maines

Dennis W. Maines, 57, of Ponderosa Drive, Penfield, died, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Penn Highlands-DuBois, after a short illness.  On June 30, 1961 he was born, a son of the late Elwood and Barbara (Bumbarger) Maines.  He married Joann (Coudriet) Horn on September 22, 2018, who survives in Penfield.

Besides his wife, Dennis is survived by: children, Amanda Jo (Jesse) Watro of Clearfield, Timothy Maines of Hyde, Russell L. Horn of Penfield, Jessie James Maines of Tennessee, Valerie K. Maines of Tennessee, Jaden Maines of Tennessee; step-children, Richard Lee Horn of Gallitzin and Brian Weld of Bald Eagle; four grandchildren; a brother, Andrew Maines of Clearfield; and a sister, Deborah Davis of Hyde.

Dennis had served in the US Army in his years following High school and had most recently worked with Antonuk Sanitation. He was a member of the Tri-County Church and was attending online college to finish his Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He lived most of his life in Clearfield and the past six months in Penfield.

There will be no visitation.

The family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.

Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Ben Clark.
