Bonnie Lee (Garvin) Huff

Bonnie Lee Huff, 73, Hickory Avenue, Weedville, PA, died at home, surrounded by her family, Friday, November 10, 2017, after a battle with cancer.  She was born on September 24, 1944 in DuBois, PA, to Myles and Christine (Bundy) Garvin. 

On July 21, 1962 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force, PA, she married Ronald F. Huff, who survives in Weedville.

Besides her husband, Bonnie is also survived by her mother, Christine of Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys; her children, Shelly Huff and Ronna (Alex) Rebo, both of Weedville; five grandchildren, Dustin and Tony Reed, Angela Huff, Brianna (Calvin) Dusch and Paul Lenze;  a great-grandson, Larkin Reed; a brother, Vaughn (Jean) Garvin, Sr. of DuBois and a sister, Crystal Garvin of DuBois.

She was preceded in death by her father Myles, a sister, Olivia in infancy and her son, Denny Huff.

Bonnie was a 1962 graduate of DuBois Area High School, a devout Christian and a very devoted mother and grandmother.  She was a past head of housekeeping at Wolfe Run Manor of Treasure Lake where she had worked for many years. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and serving as a Girl Scout Leader.  She lived all her life in Bennetts Valley.

There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion in Weedville on Saturday Nov. 18th at 2PM.
