EDUCATION: Graduate of Sandy Township High School and mining academy in West Virginia.

MILITARY: Served in US Navy during WWII on submarines, USS Appagon and USS Moray among others and was awarded many military combat medals in the Pacific Theater.

OCCUPATION: Federal Mining Inspector.

NOTORIETY: 32^nd degree Mason with Driftwood Lodge and attended Caledonia United Methodist Church.

OTHER RESIDENCES: Born and raised in DuBois, he lived most of his life in Bennetts Valley.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Private services will be held by the family.

INTERMENT: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Weedville, PA
